Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced Monday the implementation of the Florida Hometown Heroes Housing Program. The project is intended to help at least 50 professions to buy their first home and will go into effect on June 1.

The governor explained that the decision was made for the benefit of public servants because Florida values the contribution of these professions to society.
