10 Black Americans Under Attack for Standing Up to the Radical Left and Defending Freedom

“If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump, then you ain’t black,” said Joe Biden then-candidate and now President of the United States. The Democrat’s argument at the time was quite direct: a black man who opposed voting for the party that had fought against the abolition of slavery decades ago lost his racial identity.

Today’s so-called “anti-racists” have a rather particular way of looking at life. They claim to protect minorities, as long as, of course, those minorities submit to the policies pushed by white liberal elites. Otherwise, may God have mercy on their “ultra-conservative” and “terrorist” souls.

Kyrie Irving, Dave Chappelle, Larry Elder, Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, Sen. Tim Scott, Jerry Craft, Tamyra Mensah-Stock, Jonathan Isaac, Candace Owens, are just a few of the names of proud black American citizens who have been recklessly attacked for expressing views that may at times contradict those of the white liberal elite.

With the publication of New York Times‘ “1619 Project” and the forced imposition of Critical Race Theory in schools and universities, the white liberal elite—the same group of individuals that oppressed blacks decades ago through brute force—now wants to continue imposing patterns of behavior, but this time through indoctrination. They falsely claim that their policies are carried out in the name of “racial justice.” The truth is that they seek to keep ideologically oppressed with the ultimate goal of guiding them towards progressivism.

We all know some of the injustices that were committed, not only in the United States, but in most of the territories of the world where slavery was a widespread practice. However, today, no one can say that the country of liberties is a “systematically racist” nation.

Yes, racism is real. It exists within a minority percentage of individuals in every community: from whites towards blacks, from blacks towards whites and Asians, from Asians towards Latinos, and so on, but we are all equal before the law. American institutions do not distinguish between race, religion or political ideology, and provide all its citizens, residents, and immigrants with due process and respect, protected by our U.S. Constitution, probably more than in any other country on earth.

Democrats want to simultaneously plunge blacks into the labyrinth of victimhood and promote big government policies to deliver their so-called “justice”, ignoring the countless accomplishments of black Americans including a former President. Instead of providing a discourse of unity and civility that not only allows for the integration of all American communities and races, but stops treating blacks as if they were a disabled race that is lost.

Gwen Berry and Tamyra Mensah-Stock

Gwen Berry and Tamyra Mensah-Stock are the best representation of the two predominant mindsets of not only African-American citizens but of the U.S. population. Both are Olympic athletes, and although the latter has won Olympic medals, the former has received more attention from the White House than the Olympic gold medal winner in Tokyo.

This year, in the track and field classification for the Olympic Games, Berry, who was third, showed a T-shirt that said “activist athlete” and turned her back to the U.S. flag and national anthem and protested for what she considers to be a “racist” nation. This generated controversy throughout the country, so much so that President Joe Biden spoke out and far from condemning the athlete’s disavowal of the anthem and the flag of the nation he presides, he said he “respected” Berry’s position.

In contrast to Berry, Tamyra Mensah-Stock appeared a few weeks later. She made it all the way to the Olympics thanks to her performance and hard work; and far from taking a shot at the country where she was born, she fought hard to win the gold medal—becoming the first black woman to win in the wrestling discipline—and after doing so, she said she was deeply proud to be an American and to give the medal to her country: “I love representing the United States. I love living there.

However, Mensah-Stock’s statements and her medal went unnoticed by the White House, American progressives celebrated Berry’s act of rebellion and disrespect more than their compatriot’s Olympic gold and words of love for the country.

The canceled “white supremacists”

Dave Chappelle and Kyrie Irving are two of the latest targets of woke liberals. Irving, an NBA player, is being criticized for rejecting COVID vaccine mandates. Similarly, Chappelle is under fire for telling some stark truths about the LGBT community in America. “Gays are minorities until they need to go back to being white,” he said in his monologue.

As expected, after the publication of his stand-up special on Netflix, he was showered with criticism from progressives. But they didn’t only demonize him. They even dared to say that Chappelle abuses his “white privilege“. Using the same leftist talking point, they also attacked the Republican candidate for governor of California, Larry Elder. A white woman with a monkey mask chased him at a march and threw an egg on his head. Ironically, this happened a couple of days after an article in the LA Times labeled Elder—who is black—as a “white supremacist.” In the same piece, the author called for Californians to support Gavin Newson, the incumbent governor, who is white—all in the fight against white supremacism.

Please make that make sense. Only in a sickly ideologized country can something like this happen.

It’s okay to be black, but not a conservative

The aforementioned cases are accompanied by Kanye West—one of the favorite victims of progressivism—, his biggest sin is being a millionaire, successful, religious and conservative. Also, Nicki Minaj, who was politically condemned by the White House because of her opinion on vaccines.

The list goes on, writer Jerry Craft has also been wrongfully slammed for being against Critical Race Theory. Orlando Magic’s Jonathan Isaac has been trashed by the liberal press for being very religious, opposing kneeling at games following Black Lives Matter protests, and criticizing vaccine mandates. “You can play on the same court. We can touch the same ball. We can bump chests. We can do all those things on the court. And then when it comes to being on the bus, we have to be in different parts of the bus? To me, it doesn’t seem logically consistent,” said Isaac.

Let’s also not forget Tim Scott, the U.S. Senator from South Carolina, who Democrats mocked for declaring that America was not a racist country, and who they disparagingly called “Uncle Scott.

“Well, you know, it was annoying certainly, but it was very disappointing that those people who want to be respected and given the opportunity to live their lives the way they want to live their lives don’t want the same for you and me,” Scott said after the liberals’ comments.

“They’ve doubled down on the bet that they’re not going to attack my policies, but they’re literally attacking the color of my skin. You can’t get out of your lane according to the liberal elite on the left,” he sentenced.

Let us not forget Candace Owens, probably the African-American with the most weight in public opinion on the conservative side, a woman who, far from falling into the victimizing tendencies of race and gender, constantly speaks about the importance of promoting individual freedoms, a limited government, and of course, fights the racist narratives that emanate from the liberal sphere, such as critical race theory, among others.

Needless to say, for the left in the United States, Candance Owens is not a “poor discriminated black woman”, but the antichrist herself, for the simple fact of respecting herself, not victimizing herself, and speaking to her people.

Don’t think for yourself

In short, for Democrats “black” is just the one who is guided by white liberal elites and doesn’t think independently. You may have dark skin and African-American parents, but you better not pray too much, not be proud of America, and not believe that you can achieve your goals on your own, otherwise you will go on to become the worst abomination of the last century: a “white supremacist”, and that’s where you as a black person will probably lose all your rights.
