Dr. Anthony Fauci’s “I am the science” has done little to convince Americans. Recent figures from Rasmussen Reports indicate that only 40% of citizens believe the doctor has been truthful about coronavirus research.

Fauci was badly affected by the leak of his emails, through which it became known that he as director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases knew that taxpayers’ money was being used to fund the Wuhan Institute of Virology – which is currently being investigated for the origin of COVID-19.

In the face of this sensitive information that is now public knowledge, a majority of American voters believe that Fauci has not been truthful with the investigations surrounding the virus and its leak. “Forty-six percent (46%) of voters believe that Fauci has not told the truth about American funding of such research,” Rasmussen notes.

American voters, however, are not the only ones who consider the immunologist a liar. Fox News host Tucker Carlson stated on his program that the doctor should be criminally investigated. “Looking back, he committed perjury,” Carlson said of Fauci.

To the Tucker Carlson Tonight host, he lied. “He seemed determined to hide those facts from the public – why would he have to do that?” he asked.

Carlson addressed Fauci’s intimate exchange with Bill Gates over a long period of time, and asked whether the tycoon who advocates a global tax had somehow enriched himself by the measures imposed by the doctor.

Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul has been among the fiercest opponents of Anthony Fauci, and he also had words about the leak of the doctor’s emails. “The emails paint a disturbing picture of Dr. Fauci, from the beginning, concerned that he has been funding gain-of-function research,” the senator said.

Paul added that there is plenty of evidence to show that Dr.Fauci has a major conflict of interest and that if, in the end, it turns out that this virus came from the Wuhan lab, much of the blame will fall on the doctor since he was a big supporter of the funding.
