Elon Musk’s arrival at the social network Twitter is revealing the web of lies woven by the establishment over the past few years. In his particular hero’s journey, Elon Musk has had to enter the belly of the beast to uncover the deception in which we have been submerged. The reactions to what Elon Musk is doing by the different actors involved would come to confirm the farce.

The most obvious lies that Elon Musk is showing are those related to the political control of information, using fact-checkers and Big Tech’s terms of service as an excuse to impose a particular narrative. What little Elon Musk has yet revealed about Twitter, while serious, is only the tip of the iceberg of deception perpetrated by Big Tech in collusion with leftist forces.

But aside from these obvious lies and manipulations – coordinated between Big Tech’s biggest players and the media – Elon Musk’s actions are exposing a second, much deeper and more pervasive layer of deception that corrupts the entire system.

Already famous is the photo showing the Twitter staff before Elon Musk and the new team of programmers after his arrival. The fact that after the dismissal of thousands of managers and workers, the company not only has not suffered, but also works even better at a technical level, would be the demonstration that we are facing an artificially inflated and politically intervened business and financial system through the criteria of Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG).

That investors and advertisers, instead of rejoicing at the efficiency and productivity measures introduced by Elon Musk, are tearing their hair out and abandoning Twitter, is a clear sign of how corrupt the system is because of these criteria.

In just a few years, ESG indicators have shifted the valuation of companies from objective criteria of productivity and efficiency to highly ideologized subjective criteria such as environmental sustainability, or diversity and inclusion in hiring.

ESG has been the left’s sibylline way of intervening in private companies without appearing to do so. If your market valuation and financing capabilities are conditioned by this filter, it is normal that companies have been filled with managers who, even without many of them knowing or intending it, have become de facto a kind of political commissars of the woke radical leftism.
