The United States is suffering its highest inflation in 39 years. In twelve months, the cost of living has increased by 6.8%, completely erasing the gains from wage increases Americans had experienced in 2021.

Price spikes in November constituted 0.8 %, with energy being the service that increased the most during this month. Gasoline prices jumped again by 6.1 %, since December 2020 gasoline prices have risen by almost 60 %.

The United States is preparing its pockets for a more expensive life, as the Federal Reserve (FED) itself admitted that inflation will not be transitory.
