The vast majority of Americans think that rising food and household prices are causing them financial hardship, and 79% blame the economic policies of the Biden administration, according to the most recent Fox News poll.

Based on the poll results, a vast majority of Americans are concerned about inflation (86%) and the generalized rise in prices, as well as the increase in violent crime (81%) and political division (83%) in the United States.

In addition, 49% of registered voters disapprove of Biden’s economic performance, compared to 47% who approve. This implies a reduction of 4 percentage points in his approval with respect to previous months when the government’s management of the economy received 51%.

However, the survey also indicates that the majority of respondents (86%) feel that COVID-19 has been responsible for the price increases, while 79% directly blame the Biden-Harris administration’s economic policies.

However, the survey also indicates that the majority of respondents (86%) feel that COVID-19 has been responsible for the price increases, while 79% directly blame the Biden-Harris administration’s economic policies.

As a result, Americans would rather the government “leave them alone” than “give them a hand up.” According to the survey, 47% say the message they would like to give the federal government is “leave me alone.” The figure represents an 11-point increase over last year. By contrast, 44% would tell the government to “give me a hand,” down significantly from the 57% who felt that way in August of last year.

On the other hand, a large majority disapproves of the Biden administration’s policies on crime (51% vs. 39% who approve), as well as immigration policies (57% vs. 35%).

Similarly, 66% of registered voters express concern about illegal immigration.

Likewise, an overwhelming majority of Americans (56 %) support capitalism as the preferred economic model, compared to 32 % who would prefer a socialist state. In this regard, socialists gained 7 percentage points over February, when only 25% of respondents responded favorably to this indicator.

Among the greatest concerns of most Americans is the growing power of China (73%), the federal deficit (70%), unemployment (71%) and the coronavirus pandemic (69%).
