Assyrian-American mixed martial arts fighter Beneil Dariush dedicated his latest fight victory “to all those affected by Marxist ideologies.”

After soundly defeating Tony Ferguson in the co-main event of UFC 262, held in Texas last Saturday, Beneil Dariush confirmed himself as one of the best lightweights in the UFC.

After the fight, he was interviewed on the ring by Joe Rogan, and Beneil Dariush’s statements have drawn a lot of attention.

The first thing he did was to thank “my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,” and then he remembered “people who’ve been hurt by Marxist ideologies.”

Although he said he was aware that it was only an MMA fight, he felt it was important to show his support for the “millions of people who have been hurt by Marxist ideologies.” He said he “loved them and understood their pain.”

Despite being in Texas, dedicating his victory to Jesus Christ, and having a remembrance for the victims of leftist ideology, much of the audience continued to boo him, as they mostly wanted a Tony Ferguson victory.

In any case, Beneil Dariush’s explicit anti-communist statements are very significant in terms of the so-called cultural battle against the left. In general, leftist ideology has always enjoyed a certain immunity among celebrities and stars, who have either directly praised it, or have not dared to criticize it publicly.

Such statements are a sign that something is beginning to change among celebrities, who are no longer afraid to use their influence to warn of the dangers of leftism.

Beneil Dariush complains to Elon Musk about the delay of his Tesla

After these statements, Beneil Dariush switched to a more relaxed and jocular tone, and took advantage of Joe Rogan’s microphone to send a message to one of the popular commentator’s friends, Elon Musk: “I want to call out your buddy Elon! Elon Musk! Where is my wife’s car, bro?! I have been waiting for six months!”

The brawler explained that he has been waiting since December for delivery of a Tesla car he ordered when his wife became pregnant. “I’m having a baby. I need a big car; I need to protect my daughter. Let’s go, Elon, get me my car.”

Elon Musk, ever vigilant on Twitter, replied to Beneil Dariush’s sympathetic request by saying he was “sorry for the delay,” and assured that he would soon have his new Tesla available.

Beyond the amusing anecdote, these statements may serve as a clue that Tesla could announce another quarter of record sales. In the first quarter of 2021, Tesla strung together its seventh consecutive quarter of profits, and these statements reflect how high demand for its vehicles is.
