PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN reacted Thursday to the arrival of illegal immigrants in Democratic cities. The president’s comments came after a bus dropped off a group of immigrants near the residence of Vice President Kamala Harris in Washington.
A bus loaded with approximately 100 illegal immigrants was sent by Texas Governor Greg Abbott to Washington DC, and was unloaded Thursday in front of Vice President Harris’ residence, near the Naval Observatory.
Biden assured, that in his opinion, the Republicans are using the immigration crisis as a political weapon. ” Republicans are playing politics with human beings, using them as props. What they’re doing is simply wrong, it’s un-American, it’s reckless,” Biden said.

The Democrat also assured that his government is addressing the crisis at the border crossing points. Biden’s assertions come despite the fact that he has not visited the border nor have concrete measures been taken to address the increased migration flow.
“We’re working to make sure it’s safe and orderly and humane. Republican officials should not interfere with that process by waging a politically political stance,” Biden stressed.
Biden’s immigration policy
Although Biden did not name any Republican leaders, the governors of Texas and Florida are the ones who have pushed for sending illegal migrants to Democratic cities, whose leaders push an open borders policy that is also promoted by the White House.
In recent days there has been a large increase in the arrival of illegal migrants. Several of the citizens who have arrived have explained that they decide to come to the United States because they believe the border is open. For example, one illegal immigrant – who arrived in Washington this Thursday – responded to the press regarding Vice President Kamala Harris’ statements on the border crisis, saying that the border is “open” to enter the United States “illegally”.
