According to the New York Post, the Biden administration is sending “secret” planes of underage illegal immigrants to New York suburbs in an effort to quietly resettle them throughout the region. The Post reports that Biden is arranging charter flights from Texas at least as early as August, amid a growing border crisis that is overwhelming border patrol and other immigration officials.

The last two flights reportedly landed in Westchester on Wednesday at 10:49 p.m. and Friday at 9:52 p.m., as airport police stood aside and allowed passengers to enter the city without resistance. The Post‘s internal analysis suggests that at least 21 flights carrying nearly 2,000 migrants who were caught after entering illegally from Mexico arrived at Westchester Airport since August 8.

The Post‘s reporters also followed a bus that left the airport heading toward Long Island at high speeds, on a road off-limits to commercial vehicles. It arrived around 12:30 a.m. at the campus of MercyFirst, a nonprofit organization sponsored by the Catholic Sisters of Mercy based in Syosset.

“MercyFirst addresses the emotional and physical needs of children and adolescents who are the victims of societal problems,” says its official website. “The agency provides residential services to youth on our campus in Syosset and in our community-based group homes.”

Some illegal immigrants pass through Florida

The Post also claims to have witnessed several flights from Texas bound for New York stop in Jacksonville, Florida, where a Boeing 737-700 loaded with illegal immigrants landed shortly after 10 p.m.

A group of about 10 to 15 illegal immigrants wearing white baseball caps and carrying duffel bags got off the plane and boarded a charter bus near an inactive bus loading terminal.

“Why is the Biden Administration refusing to share even the most basic information about illegal alien resettlement in communities throughout our state and the entire country?” spokeswoman for Governor Ron DeSantis, Christina Pushaw, told the New York Post.

“Washington, DC, sets immigration policies that do not affect them, and states — that lack information about migrant resettlement and do not have the authority to change federal immigration policy — are expected to bear the brunt of Biden’s reckless open-borders agenda,” Pushaw added.

Journalist Miranda Devine, the author of the story for the New York Post, told Tucker Carlson that she has tried to dig deeper with the White House and the only response she got was that “it’s their responsibility” to deal with the immigration crisis.
