Joe Biden’s administration is in talks to offer illegal immigrant families who were separated during the Donald Trump administration about $450,000 per person in compensation for alleged psychological damages.

“According to people familiar with the matter, as several agencies work to resolve lawsuits filed on behalf of parents and children who say the government subjected them to lasting psychological trauma,” The Wall Street Journal reviewed in an exclusive.

It added: “The U.S. Departments of Justice, Homeland Security, and Health and Human Services are considering payments that could amount to close to $1 million a family, though the final numbers could shift, the people familiar with the matter said. Most of the families that crossed the border illegally from Mexico to seek asylum in the U.S. included one parent and one child.”

In September, an El American report explained that so far in his term, Joe Biden’s administration has released more than 600,000 illegal immigrants in the United States while they wait for them to go to court on their own to regularize their status.

Authorities overwhelmed

Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, told Fox News that Biden’s catch-and-release policy is what is attracting the thousands of illegal migrants to travel to the United States.

Finally, it was learned that a Fox News report revealed that overwhelmed immigration agencies are releasing “numerous” migrants not only in southern cities, but in the interior of the country.

“U.S. government-contracted planes transport migrants from the border and into the custody of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) field offices around the country. These migrants are often later released from these destinations,” the report notes.
