“The struggle is no longer just who gets to vote, or making it easier for eligible people to vote – it’s who gets to count the vote and whether your vote counts at all,” said President Joe Biden last Tuesday.

The president made the remarks at an event attended by Democratic National Committee officials and donors in Washington. During the meeting, Biden was also optimistic for the 2022 elections, according to the New York Post.

The President also lashed out at the Republican Party. “We know what we’re for. But Republicans don’t seem to be for anything. Name me something they are for — they’re against everything,” he said.

The electoral system pushed by Joe Biden

Biden’s remarks come at a time when Americans have expressed questions about the Democrat-driven American electoral system. In April, a Rasmussen Reports poll showed that a majority of voters, 51%, believe that cheating is likely to have affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, in which Joe Biden emerged as the winner.

The same survey revealed that American voters do not agree with the electoral reforms pushed by the Democratic Party and believe that laws requiring voter identification are not discriminatory.
