The White House announced on July 21, 2022, that President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19. Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that Biden will be isolated, but that will carry out his presidential duties from the White House.
President Biden is fully vaccinated and has received two booster shots. He has begun taking Pavloxid treatment at the advice of the CDC.
