President Joe Biden will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin on June 16 in the Swiss city of Geneva, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki said in a statement.
Both leaders will seek in this meeting to restore stability in the relationship between the United States and Russia, adds the note.
Relations between Russia and the United States had been on hold after Biden said that Putin was a “killer”, since then diplomatic meetings between the two nations had been frozen, which now hope to engage in a dialogue that will allow them to return to normality.
