The Biden administration is contemplating issuing a new order for mandatory COVID vaccines for private companies with less than 100 employees.
On Thursday, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) announced the details of the plan that applies to businesses with 100 or more employees. It also announced the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rule that requires vaccinating 17 million healthcare workers in facilities that receive federal funds.
According to Fox News, OSHA informed that it is still “seeking comments” about whether companies with fewer than 100 employees should be subject to the COVID-19 vaccine mandate and the executive order that large companies are implementing.
“OSHA is confident that employers with 100 or more employees have the administrative capacity to implement the standard’s requirements promptly, but is less confident that smaller employers can do so without undue disruption,” the summary reads.
The document adds that it “needs more time to assess the capacity of smaller employers and is asking for comments to help the agency make that determination.”
Companies and states have filed lawsuits to stop Biden’s executive order.
Lawsuits Against Vaccine Mandates
On Friday, November 5, Ben Shapiro’s Daily Wire announced that it had sued the Democratic administration for its “tyrannical vaccine mandate.”
Moreover, 12 states in the country also filed lawsuits against Biden for requiring the vaccines.
On the one hand, eleven states filed lawsuits last week to prevent mandatory vaccination. Attorneys General from Alaska, Arkansas, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, and Wyoming filed the lawsuit in a federal court in Missouri.
Similarly, this Thursday, November 4, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced that he is suing the Biden administration for its “unconstitutional” vaccination mandate.
DeSantis said in a statement that the lawsuit against the administration would be filed with the US Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit as soon as OSHA’s “illegal” temporary emergency standard (ETS) is published in the Federal Register.
Although immunization is necessary to reduce mortality, reduce symptoms and prevent the emergence of new variants, the new impositions attempt against the free will and freedom of each individual; especially because the vaccine does not prevent contagion in every case.
