It has been two months since Joe Biden assumed the presidency of the United States, his mandate has been marked by a great negligence on the part of the press in dealing with fundamental issues of American public life. Since the campaign and after the election, there have been many issues or cases that have gone under the table, due in part to the protection that Big Tech and big media have provided to the then candidate, and now Democratic President.

Before the presidential election, a conspiracy was executed that would later be unveiled by TIME magazine to remove Donald Trump from power involving the owners of the powerful social networks, politicians, leftist activists, among others.

During the months prior to November 3, the New York Post published a series of reports that involved the son of the then presidential candidate with the Communist Party of China. Yet, the press, far from trying to get to the bottom of this matter, hid it, while Twitter blocked access to the portal of the New York newspaper so that people could not find out what was happening.

At that time it was observed for the first time, and before assuming the presidency, what could be the future Democratic Administration, led not by Biden, but by a group of businessmen and left-wing activists who manage the political agenda of the country at will.

In those days Biden denied the allegations involving his son with foreign companies linked to Ukraine and the Communist Party of China, and in fact, the allegation used by Big Tech to block the information was that the articles were full of “misinformation” about “alleged” business connections and alleged tax problems.

A Politico article entitled “Hunter Biden story is Russian disinfo, dozen of former Intel officials say“, alluded that the whole affair of the then-candidate’s son was a Russian disinformation campaign. However, only a month after the elections and after Biden was declared the winner, Hunter Biden himself had to admit that he was being investigated by Delaware prosecutors for “tax matters” corresponding to his participation in the companies that he had denied throughout the campaign and for which the New York newspaper was censured.

That would be the first of a long list of lies spread during the presidential campaign that would be extended when Biden took office. The following is the extended list.

1. Hunter Biden’s “disinformation”

The long list of lies began with the Hunter cover-ups explained above.

2. Taxes

Although the current President promised during the campaign that he would not raise taxes on those earning less than $400,000, and recently repeated this in an interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. White House press secretary Jen Psaki contradicted the President and changed the equation.

3. Immigration

During the campaign, Biden strongly criticized Donald Trump for his immigration policies and he, as well as his top advisors and political associates, embraced open border policies. However, just two months into his presidency and after an almost unprecedented border crisis was unleashed due to the pro-migration public discourse in recent months, he emphatically said: “I can quite clearly say (to migrants), don’t come over.” An article in The New York Times even reported that the Biden administration had asked Mexico to secure its side of the border, just the same policy applied by Donald Trump and which the Democrat then criticized.

4. Stimulus checks

During the campaign, Joe Biden promised that a new stimulus check for $2,000 would be granted to every American, however, after taking office, he clarified that they would actually grant a check for $1,400 to be added to an earlier amount for the $2,000.

5. Coronavirus vaccine

Last March 11, Biden lied about when the coronavirus vaccine first became available in the U.S., claiming that when he came into office there were no vaccines.

The first dose of the vaccine was administered on December 14, a month before the new president took office. In fact, Biden received a coronavirus vaccine before taking office, yet he has repeatedly stated that he received no vaccine from the Trump administration, completely ignoring Operation Warp Speed.

6. Migrants’ centers

Biden falsely claimed in an interview with Univision that the new administration was going to merely reopen migrant camps that operated during the Trump administration, while his own created new ones in parallel.

Border agents under Biden’s orders opened a new facility in Donna, Texas, three weeks ago, while creating new detention centers for minors also in Midland, Texas.

7. Border crisis

Despite the fact that the number of migrants is increasing and detention centers are overcrowded, Biden denied that there is a crisis at the border after leaving a White House briefing in early March. However, in the last week even the government has had to call in the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to help contain the crisis.

In the city of Yuma alone, in the border state of Arizona, CBP data shows that more than 600 people of all ages were housed in a space designed for 104. The situation is repeated in the Rio Grande Valley in Texas, where more than 2,000 people remained in a site with the capacity to hold 715.

CBP statistics indicate that last January authorities intercepted 78,323 undocumented border crossers, of which 5,871 were unaccompanied minors.

That number is 6% higher than last December’s total, when 73,923 immigrants were apprehended after irregular border crossings.
