AN 18-YEAR-OLD TEENAGER was murdered in North Dakota. Given the increasing violence on the streets of the United States recently, this may not seem like news.
However, it turns out that the motive for the murder was political: Shannon Brandt, a 41-year-old man, ran over young Cayler Ellingson for “belonging to a Republican extremist group,” as he said in a 911 call, reporting his own murder.
Brandt later admitted that his murder was politically motivated.
And all this comes weeks after Biden infamously doubled down on his inflammatory rhetoric against conservatives and the Republican Party, calling them “semi-fascists,” “extremists,” and basically saying that anyone who opposes him opposes democracy and the republic.
To say that Biden is the direct culprit in the assassination is lying. The culprit is a degenerate who thought he could murder a teenager for his political views. Yet, can anyone be surprised that this is happening shortly after Biden’s speech? Calling half the country “semi-fascists” is de facto illegitimizing their political ideas and to some extent dehumanizing them: what is a fascist if not political scum?
Biden promised to be a president of unity. He is turning out to be a divisive president in which there are murderers who are inspired by his rhetoric.
