What we are currently experiencing should scare any sensible person. Because, like good totalitarians, the left-wingers – owners of Big Tech – today control the information that people have and, with that, the way that most people understand the world. The power of these big companies is such that they undoubtedly won the American presidency for Biden.

It would be too simplistic to analyze what is happening these days as a simple matter of conservative account closures. The real problem is not that they have taken away the accounts of right-wing figures – including the U.S. president – the real problem is that Big Tech now has the ability to establish the dominant narrative in society. A manipulated story that does not correspond to reality and is not based on facts.

Platforms like Youtube, Twitter, or Facebook, which were once the hope and tool of those who were censored and attacked by the big media, today, taken over by the same progressives that monopolized TV and newspapers, hide information harmful to their cause, while exalting and making viral those contents that benefit them.

While only five or six years ago these platforms allowed people to discover information that the mainstream media did not want to publish, today Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube, block and eliminate the accounts that publish this material. But they have gone much further and even put themselves above the mainstream media. After all, how influential can a TV channel like Fox News be without the use of social media?

The effects of such power are being underestimated by many who believe the story that what is happening is simply an effort by platforms like Facebook and Twitter to stop “hate speech.”

What would have happened in the elections if social media and big platforms like YouTube had given it the importance and space it deserved, such as the historic job growth achieved by Trump, his administration’s Operation Warp Speed that managed to develop a vaccine against the coronavirus in a matter of months, or promoting the peace agreements he achieved in the Middle East.

More importantly, what would have happened in the election if Big Tech hadn’t decided to hide issues like Kamala Harris being the most left-wing congresswoman or the allegations against Biden for sexual misconduct? And what if the Big Tech had not hidden and censored the New York Post when it published emails and documents from Hunter Biden, linking his father Joe Biden to corruption in Russia and the Ukraine.

We will never know the real effect that free social media would have had if it was not completely manipulated by the left. However, according to a survey conducted by the Media Research Center, approximately 17% of Biden’s voters said they would not have voted for him if they had known his record as well as they knew President Trump’s. In addition, 45 percent of Biden’s voters said they did not know about Hunter Biden’s shady dealings.

Big Tech today has the power to establish the dominant narrative in society, hiding information that do not suit their political interests and amplifying information that is in line with leftist ideology.

Four years ago, social media and platforms like YouTube reacted angrily to Trump’s victory. Today, when Big Tech and their woke CEOs realized the power they wield, they decided to act. Social media went from being a space where people freely exchanged information to Democratic Party advertising platforms instrumental in Biden’s victory.

They won the election by playing dirty. There there was no exposure of ideas that would allow people to make decisions with all the available information. The left is clear about this, they can hide or expose what they want, they can simply cancel the debate and not talk about what is inconvienent.

Let’s be clear: today the left and the Big Tech – turned into an extension of the Democratic Party – are the main enemies of freedom of expression.

Americans must learn the story of how Big Tech handed the presidency to Joe Biden.
