Black Lives Matter’s Apparent Unraveling From Within

Socialism, from its onset, repeatedly witnessed cannibalistic faction wars and desertions. Karl Marx ridiculed every other socialist variant labeling them pejoratively as “utopians.” For Friedrich Engels, the inventor of Marxism, and himself only their pseudo “scientific” socialism was legitimate. Black Lives Matter (BLM) has observed the one-year anniversary of the communist identity politics revolt following the death of George Floyd, with mixed reviews.

While sadly the Marxist Critical Race Theory (CRT) dogma, which is the ideological underpinning of the BLM revolution, is making an enormous headway infiltrating America’s institutions with the help of the Biden-Harris Administration, BLM appears to be unraveling from within.

Rashard Turner, founder of the BLM St. Paul, Minnesota chapter, publicly separated himself from the Marxist organization and revealed his disenchantment in a video released by TakeCharge on May 26th that favors racial tension amelioration and uplifting disparities between black Americans and other segments of society, but repudiates BLM’s methods and its attachment to the CRT worldview. “I believed the organization stood for exactly what the name implies, black lives do matter,” the former BLM leader stated. “I was an insider in Black Lives Matter. And I learned the ugly truth”, Turner continued.

The founder of the BLM St. Paul chapter is a big believer in education, as a mechanism to lift people out of poverty. For Turner, BLM’s denunciation of charter schools, siding with teachers’ unions and turning their back on black families that support school choice, was the last straw. The fundamentalism exhibited by the communist group and rejected by Turner has found an echo among other primal actors in America’s black community.

Three mothers of slain black Americans have come out against BLM. Samaria Rice, the mother of Tamir Rice, a Cleveland twelve-year-old child who was shot by police when they mistook his toy gun for a real firearm in 2014, said that “They [BLM] are benefiting off the blood of our loved ones.” Reacting to the resignation of one of the Marxist organization’s co-founders, Patrisse Cullors, over criticism arising from her lavish lifestyle and wild real estate shopping sprees, Rice added that Cullors would “take the money and run.”

Breonna Taylor, the slain twenty-six-year-old girlfriend of Kenneth Walker who fired at Louisville Police as they were entering her apartment with a no-knock search warrant on the grounds of suspected drug trafficking in the premise in 2020, fatally shooting her as they returned fire. Tamika Palmer, Taylor’s mother, detonated fury against the Louisville BLM chapter in a Facebook post, since taken down, that labeled the group as a “fraud.”

Lisa Simpson is the mother of Richard Che Risher, an eighteen-year-old who was shot by police in Los Angeles as they responded to the attack in 2016, according to the Los Angeles Times. Simpson blasted BLM. “They took advantage of us mothers and fathers because we were vulnerable because the police killed our children,” Risher’s mother stated. Additionally, Simpson and Rice, both issued through Twitter a joint statement on March 16th 2021directed at BLM and demanding that they “…step down, stand back, and stop monopolizing and capitalizing our fight for justice and human rights…We don’t need y’all parading in the streets accumulating donations, platforms, movie deals, etc.”

BLM is even being abandoned by pop culture figures. Music artist, Lord Jamar, Turning Point USA interview in a June 2020 interview stated that BLM “isn’t our movement… it was given to us by… George Soros.” The iconic rapper and founder of hip-hip group Brand Nubian apparently realized early on that Marxist movement was not what it was projecting, further explaining why he did not support BLM protests.

What the storm of surveys are reflecting of BLM’s diminishing popular support is manifesting itself everywhere. As with most communist revolutions, factions and desertions begin to conspire against itself. Purges begin and new public relations campaigns are launched. It is fundamental, for the sake of the American Republic, that the venomous intellectual underlying of BLM, the Neo-Marxist CRT, follow the same deflating path.
