One would not know it, judging from the almost absolute absence of the corporate mass media’s news coverage, but a parallel incident of the January 6th U. S. Capitol Building siege took place in Oklahoma House of Representatives on Wednesday, April 21st. Black Lives Matter (BLM) activists stormed the Oklahoma capitol building forcing a lockdown in the state’s House. Why would members of the Marxist group partake in this seditious act?

GOP Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt signed HB 1674 on Wednesday, April 21st, but does not take effect until November 1st. The law, which was passed by the state’s legislature, including the House of Representiatives, along party lines, seeks to protect Oklahomans from aggression and/or life-threatening situations that stem from violence and other illegal acts in protests and riots. The law would criminally penalize the unlawful obstruction of traffic, while being involved in a riot, making it a misdemeanor crime.

Additionally, HB 1674 provides liability protection, both, in criminal and civil instances, for motorists who unintentionally cause injury or death to individuals participating in a riot in certain circumstances. If found guilty, said misdemeanor convictions would be punishable by up to one year in state prison and subject to fines of up to $5,000. The well-crafted law leaves no stone unturned. A rioter, according to the piece of legislation, is defined as a person engaging in “any murder, maiming, robbery, rape or arson” during the civil unrest.

Kevin West, a member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives and one of the bill’s co-authors, said that his co-sponsorship of HB 1674 was directly due to an actual incident where an Oklahoma resident and his family faced grave danger, as they were surrounded by BLM mobs and were nearly prosecured with criminal charges for trying to escape. “The driver”, West added, “was severely chastised for trying to hurt the protesters and he even faced the possibility of criminal charges for his actions in attempting to evade the protesters. This measure would clarify a motorist’s rights in a similar situation going forward.”

Another bill designed to foster order and civility, HB 1643, was signed by the Oklahoma governor. The law would make it a misdemeanor crime with potential sentences of up to six months in prison and (or a $1,000 fine if any person with the “intent to threaten, intimidate or harass,” made public identifiable data of a public official or an officer of the law and which places the person in a reasonable safety risk. Clearly, this is structured to stop mob incursions on public official’s houses, as well as avoiding potential death traps for police officers.

The over thirty BLM militants who besieged the Oklahoma state capitol building, disrupting the democratic process from being lawfully carried out while simultaneously attempting to hold the House of Representatives hostage, monotoned “no justice no peace” and “Black lives matter.” It is apparent that the protesters from the communist movement have an insurrectionist problem with the American system of public policy making.

Elections and laws, for the left and the mute mass media, are only valid forms of discourse within a democracy when it is of their choosing. If they are not, then forget the rules of the Republic and overthrow the system. The BLM Oklahoma siege is only the beginning.
