Fox News announced that it had hired former athlete Caitlyn Jenner. Executive director Suzanne Scott said Jenner is an inspiration and highlighted the athlete’s career not only in the sports world, but also in the media.
“Caitlyn’s story is an inspiration to us all. She is a trailblazer in the LGBTQ+ community and her illustrious career spans a variety of fields that will be a tremendous asset for our audience,” Scott said in a statement.
Jenner, who was a Republican candidate for California governor in 2021, will do political analysis across Fox News’ various platforms. She will begin her career on the network Thursday night with an appearance on the edition of Hannity.
