China stopped kicking the table a long time ago, now it has taken over, not only the table, but also the pockets of nations that are set to operate in international trade.
While in the United States politicians promote sterile debates on an indefinite number of genders and/or sexual tendencies, in addition to segregating the population in a timely manner, reviving the pains of the slave-owning past that existed centuries ago, not only in America, but in the entire world, the Chinese Communist Party has increased its domination of Asian territory, and has also gradually replaced the first world power as the main commercial partner of nations in Africa, the European Union, and in the very backyard of the United States.
In just two decades China took over almost all the markets where the United States reigned, and is the main partner of a hundred countries in the world; while the American nation only remains the main partner for imports and exports with its northern neighbors: Mexico and Canada, together with Colombia, and a couple of other nations in Europe and Central America, this according to data reflected by the Direction of Trade Statistics and compiled by The Economist.
“Cultural” priorities in the United States
Over the past few years, American academia, mainstream media, and major political players have devoted minutes, hours, days and months to extensive debates, investigations and reports on whether government buildings should fly the LGBT pride flag, or how racist the United States is. Secretary of State Antony Blinken even invited a UN delegation to the country to “assess” racism in the nation.
Added to this are the crazy economic measures announced by the Biden administration that are pushing the American debt above 100% of its GDP for the first time since World War II, caused in large part by disproportionate public spending and an unprecedented enlargement of the state, which in turn has led to the unbridled printing of dollars that has directly caused the highest inflation in the United States in the last 13 years (when the last great financial crisis in the country occurred).
However, mainstream media, universities, and spaces of public debate are not talking about the fate of the American economy, nor about the worrying growth of China as the main trading partner of developed and underdeveloped nations. Today all we hear is whether a transgender should participate in the Olympics, how rude Donald Trump’s tweets were during his presidency, and what is Joe Biden’s favorite flavor of ice cream.
China’s penetration of third world nations
For decades, the Chinese Communist Party has been working to implement a diplomatic agenda driven by trade and the power of its yuan, to win the obedience of numerous underdeveloped nations that return these favors with absolute loyalty and votes in multilateral organizations.
China has lent more money to developing countries – a vast majority located in Africa – than the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and every other government in the world.
In 2018, the Asian giant offered $60 billion in financing to Africa and debt forgiveness to the poorest countries in the form of interest-free loans. The most dangerous part of this whole situation is the so-called “hidden debt”: experts claim that 60% of Chinese loans are granted with less collateral, but have higher interest rates and shorter maturities, thus countries that are unable to meet the commitments made are forced to hand over their ports, mines, infrastructure, concessions and other assets to China, which in turn further increases its influence over them and the rest of the world.
Before the coronavirus health crisis, the world’s debt to China was estimated to be in excess of $5 trillion, a figure equivalent to 6% of the world economy’s GDP. Countries such as Djibouti, for example, have a debt of over 100% of their GDP, while other developing nations in Africa, but also in Asia and Latin America, have debts with the Asian giant ranging from 10% to 40% of their GDP, with Venezuela, the country with the largest oil reserves in the world, and which has one of the largest reserves of gas, gold and other minerals, being one of the most committed to China.
China and Russia smile at the economic decline and ideological conflicts of the United States
For an empire to rise and subdue the former power, not only its own growth is not enough, the destruction of its enemy is also important. For almost a century the United States was the undisputed first world power, for decades the former Soviet Union, and recently also China, operated to try to destroy the United States. However, they soon discovered that the country was too powerful, and the only way to destroy it was from within.
It was then when they started the cultural war to destroy the foundations of the American system, in the year 1984 the former KGB propaganda agent, Yuri Bezmenov declared that “The major effort of the KGB is not devoted to intelligence, in my opinion, and in the opinion of many other defectors of my caliber, only about 15% of the time, money and personnel are devoted to espionage, the other 85% is devoted to a slow process that we call ideological subversion (…) or psychological warfare.”
The defector from the Soviet regime also said that “Marxism-Leninism has been bombarded into the heads of at least three generations of American students without being challenged or counterbalanced by the basic values of Americanism, American patriotism.”
After many years this is beginning to manifest itself in American society, today, when the country is going through some frightening economic figures, and the debt and public spending have skyrocketed, there are no protests in the streets for the destruction of the value of the dollar. Americans can be seen involved in demonstrations calling for the favoring of social or racial groups through state policies, the increase of government intervention in the economy, and even openly calling for socialist policies in the country that precisely achieved its meritorious position as a world power, thanks to capitalism and free markets.
Undoubtedly, the greatest thermometer to determine the degree of Marxist infection in American society is to observe that despite the imminent economic collapse, its citizens, instead of asking for corrective measures and greater freedoms, are asking for more and more state intervention, more regulations, and a government with more and more powers in all areas of the economy, health, family and surveillance.
Every time a young American, or even a congresswoman or senator, takes to the streets with a banner calling for socialism, advocating in favor of Cuba, or indulging in racial and gender debates, in China and Russia they smile, because while in the United States they drown in sterile debates, their enemies reach out their claws and reap the fruits of the fallen tree.
