A Tesla competitor, Canadian electric vehicle company Daymak Avvenire, announced that its upcoming model, the Spiritus, would have the ability to mine Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin through Daymak Nebula software, the first cryptocurrency software designed to be integrated into an electric vehicle.

The announcement comes a few weeks after Tesla’s eccentric CEO and major shareholder Elon Musk explained that the company would stop accepting Bitcoin as a means of payment due to its high environmental impact. With Tesla being an electric vehicle and solar panel company, it was counterintuitive to many people due to the high environmental footprint of Bitcoin mining.

Bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies to be generated needs to be “mined” through the resolution of complex algorithms, which become more complex as more Bitcoin are mined, intensifying in turn the consumption of electricity needed to solve these algorithms.

While it is true that Bitcoin mining has generated a high consumption of electricity, and relies heavily on fossil fuels for its generation, Tesla’s competitor, Daymak, has found a partial solution to the problem: electric cars mining while connected to recharge batteries.

With the use of the innovative Nebula Miner software, drivers will be able to mine Bitcoin while their car is parked charging either directly connected or through wireless charging (technology that allows recharging a battery without the need to connect the car to a charging station).

While ordinary cars are parked losing value, the Daymak Spiritus allows its owners to earn money while they are recharging batteries, the Nebula software allows mining Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin and other cryptocurrencies. It also has a wallet where you can deposit the profits collected by the Nebula Miner.

Tesla competitor Daymak has spared no expense with the Spiritus and offers 6 packages for the sale of the Nebula, from a basic one that requires an initial deposit of $100 and allows you to get the Spiritus for a value of $18,999 (saving almost $1,000 for its 2022 starting price of $19,995); to a package with a $50,000 deposit that allows access to the first 50 units of the vehicle, a factory tour, become a pilot to test Spiritus prototypes, lunch at the Daymak facility, and an option to participate in the company’s initial public offering (IPO).

Among other vehicles currently on the market from the company is the Terra electric bicycle, which is powered by a 500 Watt motor that can reach speeds of up to 32 km/h and has the capacity to travel up to 100 km on a full charge. The Foras is also an indoor electric bicycle with a capacity to travel more than 200 km and reaches a speed of 32 km/h.

In addition to electric bicycles, Daymak also offers an electric scooter, the Tectus with a range of 160 km and a top speed of 32 km/h, or the Aspero, an all-terrain car with a range of 300 km and a speed of up to 50 km/h.

Finally the SkyRider, a flying electric vehicle with autonomy of 100 km and capable of reaching a speed of 300 km/h, the vehicle resembles a flying saucer, according to Daymak will be available for sale in 2025.
