Buckingham Palace reported Thursday that Queen Elizabeth II is under medical supervision. The palace also explained that doctors are concerned about the 96-year-old monarch’s health. “Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision,” the royal palace wrote in a statement.
It was detailed that the Queen was in Balmoral. The situation comes after photos were published Wednesday of the sovereign with the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Liz Truss.

Faced with the situation, Liz Truss expressed her concern for the Queen’s health. “The whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime,” Truss wrote on her Twitter account upon learning of the statement.
