In just four months of the Biden administration, we have seen at least four crisis that so far he has not been able to deal with, at least in the eyes of the world. War and diplomatic situations, cyber-attacks, alarming employment figures and migratory waves characterize the beginning of an administration that has not had effective responses.

Biden ignored warnings of what is happening in Israel

A report by The National News revealed that Joe Biden ignored warnings from two Arab governments imploring him to address the crisis brewing in Jerusalem.

“Since April, Arab governments sent unambiguous messages to Washington on the need to act quickly, to pressure Israel and to try to reduce tension,” says the news outlet, which accessed a diplomatic source. Following the ignored warnings, Hamas attacked Israel with rockets, which responded by bombing Gaza.

At there moment, there are protests in the streets of New York, where there were clashes between pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian sympathizers in front of the Israeli consulate.

So far, Biden has not made a strong statement on what is happening in the Middle East and, on the contrary, it seems that he has reduced his support to Israel, one of the main allies of the United States.

Cyber-attack on oil pipeline and gasoline shortages

While part of the world is in flames, Biden must attend to a fuel crisis generated after the Darkside hacker gang attacked the computer system of the country’s main oil pipeline, Colonial Pipeline, which generated gasoline shortages at gas stations in at least four states.

The pipeline, which carries nearly half of the East Coast’s fuel supplies, was taken offline by the hackers, and as early as Monday one in 20 gas stations in Virginia had run out of fuel. On Tuesday, governors across the Southeast declared a state of emergency, and the Biden administration responded by asking drivers not to stockpile gasoline.

According to New York Post data and analyst estimates, about 7.6 percent of gas stations in Virginia ran out of fuel Tuesday morning. Likewise, 5 % of gas stations in North Carolina, 3.3 % in Georgia and 2.4 % in Florida ran out of gas.

Rising unemployment

Unemployment figures for the first quarter of the Democrat’s term are not encouraging. The official tally of the Biden administration, which promised to lower unemployment, shows that unemployment rose 6.1% and only 266,000 jobs were created.

“You might think we should be disappointed,” Biden said, but he argued that the Bailout Plan he signed into law in March “was designed to help us over the course of a year —not 60 days.”

Border crisis

According to Customs and Border Protection, migrant apprehensions at the southern border reached record highs at more than 178,000. The number of unaccompanied minors registered a 100% increase in one month, totaling more than 18,890 children.

According to NBC, 67% of the population says the president has failed to deal with border security and immigration.

In fact, while neither Biden nor Kamala Harris, delegated by the president to deal with the crisis, have not given clear answers on how to deal with the historic increase of migrants at the border, at least five Texas counties declared a “local disaster” and Governor Greg Abbott was forced to launch Operation Lone Star with the deployment of troops and National Guardsmen to “secure the border” against human and drug trafficking.
