UFC president Dana White was asked about the FBI raid on Donald Trump’s residence. The sports businessman backed his friend for “over 20 years” and assured that “I can think of about, […] ten other people’s houses that probably should have been raided before his that haven’t happened”.

White held a press conference last Tuesday after a series of fights and, of course, took questions about the FBI’s first-ever raid on a former president’s home.

“It’s madness. The whole world is crazy right now. I don’t know what to think, and I don’t know enough about it. I haven’t talked to him. I’ve only seen what bits and pieces on the news, so I don’t know exactly what’s going on. I’ll probably call him in the next couple of days”, commented the UFC president.

“I can think of about, without getting political right now, and getting into all this f**king bulls**t, there’s ten other people’s houses that probably should have been raided before his that haven’t happened, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out,” he said.

20+ years of friendship between Trump and White

The relationship between Trump and White dates back more than 20 years. On July 15, 2021, the UFC boss assured his friend is “unbelievable. He’s awesome. I love the guy. I’d do anything for him”.

During the 2016 Republican National Convention, the latter revealed that Trump believed in the UFC when no one else did and that he was the “the first guy that recognized the potential that we saw in the UFC, and encouraged us to build our business.”

White made his endorsement for the then-presidential candidate during his speech.

“Let me tell you three things that I respect about this man. First, Donald has great business instincts. He supports businesses of all sizes. He’ll make it possible for them to grow and succeed, which is the backbone of a strong economy. Second, Donald is a hard worker. This guy is going to get up there; he’s going to roll up his sleeves. He will work with people and he will put in the time to get things done”, he proclaimed.

“Third, for over 15 years, Donald Trump has been a loyal and supportive friend, and I know that if I needed Donald, he would be there for me, just like he was when I first met him. He’s one of these guys that sometimes he’ll pick up the phone and call me and say ‘Hey, good luck with the fights tonight. I’m going to be watching’”, he added about his friend’s personality.
