El American in 2021: We Have Walked and Fought With You, and This Is Just the Beginning

Leer en Español

The last week of the year begins. It has not been an easy year, but we have been privileged with your readership. You have accompanied us throughout these months.

When we started El American, we never thought we would have achieved so much in just one year.

We have reached hundreds of thousands of visits and we have capitalized on a large part of that Hispanic audience that had been completely abandoned. We have made the powerful uncomfortable. We have denounced what we consider unwise and commended good decisions.

We were in the front row talking about the allegations of fraud by former President Trump, the doubts about the electoral system and the wise decision of the Supreme Court to reject claims of voter fraud in 2020. We talked about the deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan, Joe Biden’s Saigon, and put in black and white the tragedy it signified. We denounced the sanitary tyranny and hysteria about COVID-19 and the new variants that, conveniently, keep appearing. We spoke of the totalitarianism of imposing compulsory vaccine or a sanitary apartheid, segregating the unvaccinated.

We stood with the Cubans when they rose up against Castro’s tyranny and said that the U.S. should go beyond mere gestures of solidarity. We insisted that it would be a betrayal against Cubans not to take advantage of the palpable discontent in the streets of the island to definitively overthrow that regime.

We have been there to talk about what is happening in Latin America and how socialism is slowly taking over the region again. We have become the source for Washington to consult, without a leftist perspective, about what happened in the elections in Peru, Chile, Argentina or the campaign in Colombia.

We have been there; and so have you and for that we want to thank you.

This coming year will be full of challenges and great commitments. We are going to become the leading Hispanic and conservative media, not only in the United States, but in the world—and for that we need you.

This is a cause and we are doing it very well. Enjoy the holidays because next year we must redouble our efforts, and there’s no stopping us.

  1. Thank you sir. The Democrats fail to realize that Latinos are hard working God fearing people. The type of people who will vote conservative.
