The weekend is coming and, therefore, it is time to present a new schedule of El American Sports so that you have at hand the best sporting events to enjoy in your free time.

NBA All-Star 2022 is here!

The NBA All-Star Game events have already started and this weekend there will be a couple of events that will grab the attention of all the fans of the best basketball in the world: the NBA All-Star and the All-Star Game. By the way, the spectacular All-Star Celebrity Game and NBA Rising Stars Challenge already took place on Friday.

The All-Star, where we will see talented players compete in skills contests such as three-pointers and dunks, starts on Saturday at 08:00 p.m.

The following day, also at 08:00 p.m. the All-Star Game will begin, where Team LeBron will pit their skills against Team Durant.

The NBA All-Star Weekend takes place in Cleveland, Ohio, February 18-20, 2022. The most important event will be on Sunday, with the All-Star Game on the spotlight. (EFE)

European soccer goes on

After an intense week, where we witnessed great Champions League matches -in fact, we covered the great victories of Paris Saint Germain and Liverpool against Real Madrid and Inter Milan respectively- and Europa League matches as well, the European leagues bring us several interesting matches for the coming February 19 and 20.

The Premier League has one of the highlights of the weekend. With a great Manchester City-Tottenham match, which will be played at 12:30 noon.

This Saturday, in the French Ligue 1, Franck Haise’s Lens will face Olympique Lyon at 11:00 AM (all times in this schedule are the Eastern one). A key match for the aspirations of both teams that are looking to position themselves in places that give them a place in European competitions.

On the same day, the PSG of Messi, Mbappé, and company face Nantes at the Stade de la Beaujoire, at 03:00 p.m. An interesting match, as Neymar will probably continue to add minutes after his injury and where the Parisian team will look to continue to grow in performance and dynamics to go to Madrid in a couple of weeks looking to qualify for the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

Speaking of Madrid, it will be playing at the same time as the PSG game on Saturday, hosting Alaves, who are fighting for not getting relegated. Ancelotti’s team needs a good performance after their defeat on French soil.

On Sunday, the Spanish league offers some very good matches. Early in the morning, at 10:15, Barcelona visits the always difficult Valencia CF at Mestalla stadium, which has had an irregular season. The Culés are coming off a Europa League draw against Napoli.

Likewise, the Basque derby, Athletic Club Bilbao vs. Real Sociedad, will be played on Sunday at 15:00 at the new San Mamés. A match of great history and passion that for the neutral public can be quite colorful and entertaining.

Now, if you are one of us, that is to say, you like to get up early and enjoy Italian soccer, a match you can’t miss is Atalanta-Fiorentina, at 6:30 AM this Sunday. Undoubtedly two of the most entertaining teams in European soccer. Even if they don’t have a great line-up.

Another promising game is Inter-Sassuolo, a key match for Inzaghi’s team, which is coming off a winless streak after defeats to Milan and Liverpool and a draw at Napoli. The appointment is at 12:00 on Sunday.
