Miami Beach police are investigating on Wednesday the discovery of the bodies of two men in a room of the luxury hotel Villa Casa Casuarina, better known as the Versace mansion, which was owned by the Italian designer murdered at the gates of this in 1997.

It was the hotel housekeeper who found the bodies of the two men in one of the rooms of the former Versace mansion on the popular Ocean Drive.

Health personnel notified and confirmed the death of the two men, and police officers are currently investigating the incident, the city’s police force said on social networks.

Gianni Versace was gunned down on July 15, 1997 on the steps of the entrance of his Miami Beach mansion by Andrew Cunanan, who – eight days later – while the police were looking for him, committed suicide in the houseboat where he had been hiding in South Florida.
