The man who set himself on fire this Friday in front of the Supreme Court died due to the severity of his injuries, the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police reported.
The man, who had been taken by helicopter to a D.C. hospital, was identified as Wynn Bruce from Boulder, Colorado, who identified himself as an environmental activist.
The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. on Friday, when the person approached the square in front of the Supreme Court and set himself on fire.
