The First Lady’s offense to all Hispanics is inexcusable

La ofensa de la primera dama a todos los hispanos es imperdonable

THINGS HAD already started badly. The First Lady of the United States participated in the ‘Latinx IncluXion’ event, which from its very name characterized that way in which certain white left-wing false intellectuals, have decided to call our community, knowingly, and without caring, that a vast majority of us do not like Hispanics being referred to in such a way.

But as expected, when it came to any eventuality related to this administration, things were likely to worsen, and they worsened. Mrs. Biden claimed, supposedly to please us, that Hispanics are “as unique as tacos.” To begin with, such a light statement shows how uninformed and out of touch the First Lady and the entire administration are. This is a larger concern

The Bidens and Democrat politicians ignore that the Hispanic community in the United States is made up of millions of people whose origins go back to twenty countries, where obviously the official language is Spanish, but the typical food in most of them are not tacos. By saying such an outrage, Mrs. Biden decided to leave behind more than half of Hispanics living in the United States.

But beyond that, Democrats really offend the entire Hispanic community because, when thinking of us, they do not come up with the scope and uniqueness of our culture and our heritage, both Hispanic and pre-Columbian. That she has not taken into account our hard work, which has contributed greatly to the development of this country, the commitment of hundreds of thousands of us to our armed forces that guarantee the freedom of all Americans, the entrepreneurial drive of our people, that has created thousands of companies and generated an immeasurable number of jobs, both for Hispanics and for members of other communities.

Latinos in the United States, Mrs. Biden should know, are not in this country just to eat tacos. We are, in our vast majority, hardworking and good people, with values and principles and with deep family roots. Our entrepreneurs, in addition to being very respectable and prosperous owners of “bou-dee-ghas” as she believes, are also exemplary entrepreneurs who have turned the opportunities that this country has offered them, through their efforts, into brilliant and outstanding companies that contribute with dignity and significantly to the development of the United States.

Democrats, who have taken Hispanics for granted way too long, simply don’t get it. Latinos in this country want the government to implement solid economic policies that help us all flourish. Many of them came to this country looking for freedom, a sound market economy, good paying jobs, high quality and affordable education for their kids, safe neighborhood to live in. They want, like everybody in this country, to achieve their American Dream, and the last thing they want is offensive pandering.

Perhaps it is because the Democrats, when they think of us, the first thing that comes to their mind is tacos, and because they also identify us as Latinx, that many Hispanics, who previously voted for the Democratic candidates, have been massively switching to the Republican Party, where they are also being received with open arms.
