Google plans to invest more than 7,000 million dollars in offices and data centers in the United States. Such move would create at least 10,000 new full-time jobs in 2021, company sources reported on Thursday.

This investment will involve the expansion of the company in 19 other U.S. states, reported Thursday the CEO of Google and Alphabet, Sundar Pichai, the sources added.

Pichai said that his company wants to be part of the economic recovery after COVID-19, aware that this will come from the hand of local communities, as well as people and small businesses that give them life.

The CEO had announced in February 2020, before covid-19 spread around the world, that he planned to invest $10 billion in the United States in offices and data centers by 2020.

Google is present in 26 states and its investments were to be concentrated in 11 of them.
