The CDC and Anthony Fauci Are Not Above the Law

Another unsurprising day: Macron was re-elected. The centrist (supposedly liberal) candidate was greatly favored by Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, which had a lethal impact on the campaign of his opponent, Marine Le Pen. Macron won because Le Pen was not necessarily a better candidate than him, not because he was a good president. The facts prove quite the opposite. His triumph leaves a massive percentage of the population frustrated, who still disapprove of his government but who disapprove of Le Pen.

Moving on, let’s talk about the healthcare tyranny, which is thankfully coming to an end.

After U.S. District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle overturned the CDC’s national facemask mandate on public transportation, the progressive elite in Washington DC reacted angrily. However, one of the most disconcerting reactions came from Anthony Fauci, President Biden’s senior health advisor.

For almost two years, U.S. officials have acted as if their power was above the law and, under the pretext of COVID, everything was permitted. Based on that argument, governments have been slicing away the freedoms of their citizens. Now Fauci says that, in effect, justice is indeed under the authority of the so-called “experts.”

“The principle of a court overruling a public health judgment by a qualified organization like the CDC is disturbing,” Fauci said in an interview with CBS. He then added to CNN: the facemask mandate “is a CDC issue. It should not have been a court issue.”

Although COVID is no longer pandemic, the mortality rate has been decisively reduced and the vaccine prevented the risk of death. For some reason, the CDC and Fauci intend to keep alive the hysteria over the virus—which is not justified.

Also, several studies have concluded that cloth masks (used by most people), and to a lesser extent surgical masks, do not serve to prevent contagion or protect against the disease.

There is no doubt that, at this point in time, when the virus is no longer a threat, maintaining restrictive and Draconian measures, and limiting people’s freedom to decide how they want to protect themselves, is insane. Judge Mizelle knows this very well and that is why she ruled against the mandate. Now everyone has the right to choose, as they always should have.

But no, Fauci thinks he is above justice. And that is so because so far the mainstream media has elevated him as a kind of unquestionable erudite expert, whose word is above good and evil. The God Fauci. The big brother.

Unfortunately for him and the rest of the bureaucrats who thought they had so much power during the pandemic, people are getting fed up, common sense is returning and the pandemic has come to an end. The government of experts is running out of steam.
