VP Kamala Harris tried to praise the relationship the U.S. has with South Korea, but failed to distinguish between the two nations and announced an alliance with North Korea, where there is a dictatorship headed by Kim Jong-un.
“The United States shares a very important relationship, which is an alliance with the Republic of North Korea,” Kamala Harris said during her visit to the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).

The VP’s visit came a day after North Korea fired a third ballistic missile into the sea, following two other missile launches occurring while she was traveling to Japan.
