Here are the Three Crimes Donald Trump Allegedly Committed According to FBI Search Warrant

The three crimes that Donald Trump allegedly committed by reportedly removing classified documents and storing them at his Mar-A-Lago statement have been revealed according to the FBI’s search warrant.

The FBI’s search warrant lists three crimes, per a new exclusive report from Breitbart News:

  • 18 USC 2071 — Concealment, removal or mutilation
  • 18 USC 793 — Gathering, transmitting or losing defence information
  • 18 USC 1519 — Destruction, alteration or falsification of records in Federal investigations

The search warrant lists “three criminal statutes under which items are to be searched and seized,” Breitbart News reported. “They are: 18 U.S.C. section 793, which deals with defense information; 18 U.S.C. section 1519, which deals with destroying federal documents; and 18 U.S.C. section 2071, which deals with concealing, removing, or damaging federal documents. The first statute is the one that has likely provoked media speculation about so-called ‘nuclear’ documents: it applies to a broad range of defense ‘information,’ from code books to ordinary photographs.”

The FBI search warrant affidavit thus shows that Donald Trump is under investigation for potential obstruction of justice and violations of the Espionage Act.

Donald Trump reacted to the accusation that he committed these crimes on Truth Social on Friday afternoon.

“Number one, it was all declassified,” Trump said on Truth Social. “Number two, they didn’t need to ‘seize’ anything. They could have had it anytime they wanted without playing politics and breaking into Mar-a-Lago. It was in secured storage, with an additional lock put on as per their request.”

Trump earlier on Friday unloaded on alleged ‘bombshell’ reports that he allegedly hid classified nuclear weapons documents at his Mar-A-Lago home for over 18 months after leaving his office.

“Nuclear weapons issue is a Hoax, just like Russia, Russia, Russia was a Hoax, two Impeachments were a Hoax, the Mueller investigation was a Hoax, and much more,” Trump said on his social media post. “Same sleazy people involved. Why wouldn’t the FBI allow the inspection of areas at Mar-a-Lago with our lawyer’s, or others, present. Made them wait outside in the heat, wouldn’t let them get even close – said “ABSOLUTELY NOT.” Planting information anyone? Reminds me of a Christopher Steele Dossier!”

The Washington Post reported on Thursday based on its ‘sources’ that the FBI was allegedly searching for classified materials related to the United States’ nuclear weapons program.

“Classified documents relating to nuclear weapons were among the items FBI agents sought in a search of former president Donald Trump’s Florida residence on Monday, according to people familiar with the investigation,” WaPo reported.

“Experts in classified information said the unusual search underscores deep concern among government officials about the types of information they thought could be located at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club and potentially in danger of falling into the wrong hands,” the Post proffered.

“The people who described some of the material that agents were seeking spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation,” the Post continued. “They did not offer additional details about what type of information the agents were seeking, including whether it involved weapons belonging to the United States or some other nation. Nor did they say if such documents were recovered as part of the search. A Trump spokesman did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The Justice Department and FBI declined to comment.”

This is the first report to assert that classified nuclear weapons documents were in the possession of former President Donald Trump. It implies that the FBI waited for over a year to act to safeguard America’s nuclear secrets. However, the president legally has the right to declassify any documents in the federal government, setting up a legal battle over intepreting whether or not a former president had violated the Public Records Act.
