House Dems Block More SCOTUS Security, Even After Justice Kavanaugh is Targeted in Murder Plot

Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, long the target of left-wing vitriol and the subject of vicious smears from the Democratic Party, came under attack on Wednesday. A 26-year-old armed man who was plotting to kill Kavanaugh was arrested outside of the Supreme Court Justice’s home.

The suspect, Nicholas John Roske, said that he was “upset” by the leaked draft of the majority Supreme Court opinion that would overturn Roe v. Wade, thus drawing a clear red line to the Democrats’ incendiary rhetoric about the upcoming opinion and what it would mean for the country. The suspect was heavily armed and had an arsenal of weapons, including a handgun, tactical gear, a knife, and zip ties.

“I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price,” current Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer railed in March. “You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

Speaker Nancy Pelosi in May appeared on MSNBC and hinted to radical protesters that they should mobilize ‘public sentiment’ to influence the court.

“The chief justice has said, this is, this is authentic, but it is not final,” she went on. “I don’t know if he is word authentic. It’s real, but not final.”

“So again, Lincoln said public sentiment is everything with it,” she continued. “You can accomplish almost anything — without it, nothing — and women just have to weigh in.”

Despite the Democrats being directly complicit in stoking outrage over the incoming Supreme Court decision, they blocked adding more security for Supreme Court Justices late Wednesday.

“Earlier today, a man was arrested for plotting to kill Justice Kavanaugh,” House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said on the House floor. “Over a month ago, the Senate unanimously passed a bill to provide more security for Supreme Court Justices and their family. But House Democrats have let that bill gather dust.”

“This is the same party whose heated rhetoric has encouraged political pressure on conservative justices,” he added. “Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said, ‘I know that there’s an outrage right now, I guess, about protests that have been peaceful to date. And we certainly do continue to encourage that outside judges’ homes. And that’s the president’s position.”

“And Majority Leader Schumer said, ,I want to tell you, Justice Kavanaugh and Justice Gorsuch, You have unleashed a whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won’t know what hits you, if you go forward with these awful decisions.

“Mr. Speaker, with words like that and threats like these Congress cannot afford to wait,” McCarthy said. “We have a duty to protect the court, the justices and their families from political violence and intimidation. And we can meet that duty tonight before the house adjourns by sending this bill to the president’s desk.”

However, Democrats did not allow the commonsense measure to protect Supreme Court Justice’s safety to proceed to a vote on the House floor.
