ON JULY 11, Hunter Biden and his father Joe Biden trended again on Twitter. This time, for a new leak allegedly involving Hunter with illegal activities. However, the story is almost going unnoticed by the media. Why is that?

Hunter, ‘4chan’ and a nickname for Joe Biden?

Last Saturday, July 9, unverified content began circulating on social networks about Hunter Biden. The images are explicit. The president’s son can reportedly be seen having sex in homemade videos, arguing with a woman while weighing a few grams of apparent crack cocaine. Other exposed material includes screenshots of text messages taken from his personal iCloud account, which were hacked by users of the website ‘4chan’.

According to its own website, “4chan is a simple image-based bulletin board where anyone can post comments and share images.” The site does not specialize in politics and does not require registration to post content.

According to Washington Examiner, one of the few media outlets to report on the leaked images, the alleged content was on Hunter Biden’s iPhone XS which “appears to have been posted by users of the 4chan community, who shared screenshots on the website’s main political forum late Saturday night.”

However, ‘4chan’ administrators themselves, according to the report, “moved quickly in the hours after the content was posted to pull down threads that included materials from the alleged leak, leaving many on the site, which is known for featuring some of the most salacious subject matter on the internet, furious.”

The removal of the content on ‘4chan’ did not stop the images from making their way around the Internet; via Telegram groups or small clips on Twitter.

El American was able to view some leaked content, but was unable to verify the validity of the images or whether they came from Hunter Biden’s personal iCloud account.

In another report, the alternative media outlet Daily Caller, explained why President Biden is being referred to on Twitter as ‘Pedo Peter’, quickly becoming a trend.

According to the Caller, “the leak also included a series of text messages allegedly from Biden, which suggest that he and his father own a number of guns, and that he stole upwards of $100,000 from his ex-wife.”

Likewise, the media outlet explained that Wendell Husebo, a reporter for Breitbart News, “shared a screenshot of what he claimed was a contact in Hunter Biden’s phone, listed as ‘Pedo Peter’.”

However, on July 13, Wendell Husebo himself reported exclusively to Breitbart that the nickname ‘Pedo Peter’ did not refer to President Biden, but to Natalie Biden, daughter of Hunter Biden’s late brother, Beau.

“The phone number associated with Hunter Biden’s “Pedo Peter” contact, found on the first son’s iCloud account, is Natalie Biden’s,” Breitbart revealed citing forensic analysis. “Natalie, 17, is one of President Joe Biden’s seven grandchildren. Natalie is Hunter’s niece and the daughter of his late brother Beau and wife Hallie, with whom Hunter was romantically involved after Beau’s death.”

After almost 48 hours since the leak on ‘4chan’, no mass media has covered the alleged images of Hunter Biden, who has been involved in different controversies due to the content found in an abandoned computer in Delaware linking him to shady business dealings abroad and a very controversial private life.
