Prosecutors predict that the investigation against Hunter Biden will end in a “generous” guilty plea so that the Biden administration “will not be further embarrassed,” reported The Washington Times‘s Jeff Mordock.

According to The Washington Times “prosecutors who have watched the case predict it will end with a guilty plea to minor tax or gun charges in exchange for a light sentence”.

The case involving Hunter Biden, President Biden’s son, is reportedly reaching the stage where prosecutors are considering charges. The federal investigation against him looks at everything from possible tax violations to foreign business dealings in countries such as Ukraine, Russia and China, particularly during Biden’s time as vice president in the Obama administration.

“A guilty plea would be the least-messy outcome, they say. It would avoid an indictment or criminal trial that could unearth accusations that would embarrass Hunter Biden and his father.”, Mordock wrote.

The case of the president’s son is already beginning to appear in the mainstream media as something very serious; in fact CNN’s Brian Stelter recently said that “this is a real problem for the Biden people.”

“What about his son?” asked Stelter. “What about Hunter? Hunter under federal investigation, charges can be coming at any time, this is not just a right-wing media story. This is a real problem for the Bidens.”, said the host.

In the run-up to the 2020 election, the Hunter Biden laptop story was falsely declared Russian disinformation by dozens of former intelligence officials. Twitter, Facebook and other platforms suppressed the story by preventing people from sharing the link to the New York Post article reporting the story. Two years later the information is known to be true and as the days go by more evidence comes to light.

Hunter Biden and his “problems” with taxes

Although Hunter Biden and his associates are being investigated if they violated money laundering, tax and foreign lobbying laws, everything seems to indicate that the focus of the charges will be on taxes.

Just such a CNN article talks about how the president’s son has been embroiled in tax trouble. The media outlet’s report leaves aside Hunter Biden’s business dealings and at least 150 suspicious transactions to just focus on this issue.

In 2017 and 2018 Hunter Biden’s accountants pressured him to file the tax return payment schedule. In fact, in emails, it was evidenced that the State Department would not renew Hunter’s passport if he did not take on his debts.

“IRS has notified the State Department and they will not renew your passport until this is resolved,” accountant Bill Morgan told Hunter Biden in an email.
