Once again we are facing a week in which the competition for El American’s Idiot of the Week award is very close. With a large number of candidates – who have uttered almost as many idiocies as Hamas has launched missiles from Palestine into Israel – we have finally decided in favor of the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement for, precisely, siding with Hamas terrorists.
Faced with the barrage of ground-to-ground missiles – estimated at more than 3,000 – launched by Hamas indiscriminately on the Israeli civilian population, Black Lives Matter has decided to stand in solidarity with those firing the rockets, and not with the victims of the attacks.
On May 17, in a tweet from its official account, Black Lives Matter said it “We are a movement committed to ending settler colonialism in all forms and will continue to advocate for Palestinian liberation. (always have. And always will be).”
To no one’s surprise, Black Lives Matter has sided with Hamas terrorists. After all, they share a number of positions and hobbies.
BLM and Hamas
Both our Idiot of the Week and Hamas justify their existence on racial oppression, and then base all their speeches and actions on hatred of other collectives or races. Hamas hates Jews just for being Jews, just as much as Black Lives Matter hates whites just for being white. And well, so do Asians. And Jews. Oh, and also blacks themselves who don’t support BLM thuggery.
They also share a fascination with fire, the destruction of homes, businesses, and cities. Looting is one of their common hobbies, but above all, they agree on making life even more miserable for those they claim to defend.
Hamas uses Palestinians as human shields and spends humanitarian aid money on weaponry. Black Lives Matter sows chaos wherever it goes, further impoverishing the starving legion it claims to defend, while its leaders seem to spend money on buying mansions.
But if there is one thing Hamas and Black Lives Matter agree on, it is knowing how to play the victim and count on the support of all the progressive leftists of the world united. After all, the leaders of Black Lives Matter call themselves trained Marxists.
Every self-respecting progressive must have posted the Palestine flag on his or her Twitter profile these days. Once again, we have witnessed impossible combos: Black Lives Matter flag + anti-fascist flag + Israel flag (crossed out) + rainbow flag. If only Isaac Newton could solve that equation.
For how many minutes could a homosexual with a rainbow flag walk peacefully through the streets of Gaza before being lynched? I mean minutes, for how many thousandths of a second? Well, about the same amount of time as someone carrying an “All Lives Matter” or “It’s ok to be white” sign during a “peaceful” Black Lives Matter demonstration.
Although the progressive press is hell bent on trying to make us believe that Black Lives Matter is a “mostly pacifist” movement, the truth is that with their actions and messages like this one they seem to put just as much, if not more, effort into putting that press that always tries to whitewash them -no pun intended- in a bad light.
Although, in all fairness, it must be said that it is not fair to generalize and think that the entire Black Lives Matter movement is a hate group because of the actions of a few. It’s probably about 90% who are giving the rest a bad name.
