Three new busloads of illegal migrants arrived in New York City after Texas Governor Greg Abbott sent them to New York City as a sanctuary city.
Democrat Mayor Eric Adams recently accused Abbott of creating a “crisis” in the city by taking in some 4,000 illegal migrants and said federal funds are needed to address the situation.
Although the Democrat mayor holds Abbott responsible for sending migrants to New York, Texas receives at least 4,000 illegal migrants daily without the Joe Biden administration taking action to address the crisis. Abbott’s decision to send migrants to Washington DC and sanctuary cities is a move to draw attention to the seriousness of what is happening at the southern border.
While awaiting the arrival of the three new buses early Wednesday morning, August 10, New York City Office of Immigrant Affairs Commissioner Manuel Castro accused Abbott of being “morally corrupt” and of using the transport of immigrants to the Big Apple as a “political ploy” aimed at “foment anti-immigrant sentiment.”

“If he wanted to help, he would be bussing them to the actual locations that they need to… meet, to be transported to. But he’s not. He’s transporting people to Washington, D.C. and to New York City without any communication with us, with the intent of forcing as much harm as possible to our cities,” Castro denounced.
At a press conference Tuesday, Adams threatened to bring a busload of New Yorkers to Texas to knock on the door and help remove Abbott from office for the “good of America” before calling for more federal funding to address the influx of immigrants to the Big Apple sanctuary city.
Texas has also sent more than 5,100 migrants to Washington, D.C., a surge that prompted Mayor Muriel Bowser to activate the District of Columbia National Guard.
“Believe me, we have more buses headed their way as we speak right now. But this just shows the hypocrisy of these liberal leaders up in the northeast who think that border crisis created by Joe Biden, that is fine as long as it’s Texas that has to deal with” Abbott said.
“But as soon as they have to deal with it the real confidence of the crisis, they are up in arms calling for the national guard as you point out dealing with just a tiny fraction of what we had to deal with every single day,” he added. “We’re going to keep sending those buses up there until they fully understand and most importantly — until the Biden administration does its job to enforce the laws concerning the border.”
Abbott invited Adams to the border to witness the immigration crisis, but Adams declined.
More Illegal Migrants Arrive at the Border
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin reported this Wednesday, August 10, on the arrival of a “huge group” of approximately 150 illegal migrants who were detained in Eagle Pass, Texas.
The journalist revealed that according to the Border Patrol in the last hours there were more than 600 escapes and the arrest of a convicted rapist for forced sodomy in Virginia.
Another huge single group of 150+ migrants crossed illegally into Eagle Pass, TX as the sun came up this morning. Almost all single adults.
