Several military recruitment centers in Russia have been attacked with Molotov cocktails since the start of the partial mobilization decreed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, local media reported today.

As a result of one of the attacks on an enlistment office in the city of Khabarovsk, in the Russian Far East, two rooms were burned, although there were no injuries.

According to the Baza telegram channel, unknown persons also attempted to set fire to an enlistment office in the Amur region, bordering China. The attack damaged the facade of the building.

Attacks on at least four recruitment centers in St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Orenburg, and Zabaikal were reported the day before.

In addition, Molotov cocktails have also been thrown at administration buildings in various cities across the country.

Thousands of Russians have been trying to leave the country since Putin announced on Wednesday morning the partial mobilization, which will initially affect 300,000 reservists.

More than 1,300 people were arrested on Wednesday in numerous cities in anti-war protests, which did not prevent the opposition to the Kremlin from calling for a new national protest for this Saturday.

The Defense Ministry considers the mobilization of riflemen, tankers, gunners, drivers, and mechanics a priority.

Privates and sergeants under 35 years of age, and officers under 55 years of age will be mobilized, but not students studying on-site or conscripts.

Exempted will be computer scientists, bank employees, communications specialists, and journalists, as well as workers of military industry enterprises, parents of large families, those caring for invalids and the sick, and Russians living abroad.
