The Indiana Attorney General will launch an investigation against Big Tech companies for harming users in the state by limiting and censoring conservative content.

According to Fox News, Attorney General Todd Rokita will focus his inquiry on the methods used by Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, and Twitter to limit users of certain content.

Rokita claims that Big Tech is “deleting” material that reflects politically conservative views and added that “such manipulation prevents consumers from making informed decisions.”

“In a free society, few assets are more important to consumers than access to information and the opportunity to express political viewpoints in meaningful forums,” Rokita said. “It is potentially harmful and unfair for these companies to manipulate content in ways they do not publicly discuss or that consumers do not fully understand.”

According to The Daily Wire, Rokita is also investigating alleged actions taken by attorney Vanita Gupta, president and CEO of the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, for allegedly pushing “companies to censor conservative viewpoints.”

This is a far-left activist who President Biden nominated to be associate attorney general at the Justice Department and who, according to Time, met with Facebook and Twitter executives to urge “tougher rules and enforcement.”

While the Indiana AG announces the investigation against Big Tech companies, former President Donald Trump is preparing his own social media platform to circumvent censorship by companies like Facebook or Twitter.

Investigation against Big Tech companies for collusion?

Time magazine, which published “the secret story” behind Joe Biden’s victory, also confirmed that Big Tech companies was behind and planned the censorship. According to the story, “leftist leaders” pressured Big Tech executives to limit conservative content:

“It took pushing, urging, conversations, brainstorming, all of that to get to a place where we ended up with more rigorous rules and enforcement,” Vanita Gupta, who attended the dinner and also met with CEOs of different Big Techs, including Twitter’s Jack Dorsey, told Time.

A video of Dorsey was leaked in January where it was evident that the mass censorship on Twitter was planned.

“his is going to be much bigger than just one account, and it’s going to go on for much longer than just this day, this week, and the next few weeks, and go on beyond the inauguration,” the Twitter CEO said in the video, in relation to the blocking of Trump’s account.
