New confidential files reveal that just as the Communist Party of China (CCP) achieved the largest infiltration of agents in the United States, it did the same in the United Kingdom and Australia, penetrating companies such as AstraZeneca, Rolls Royce, HSBC and Jaguar Land Rover.
A report published by The Daily Mail reported that China has infiltrated agents in consulates, universities and large British and American companies including defense corporations, banks and pharmaceutical giants. Although there is no evidence that most of them have stolen information, the truth is that more than 1.95 million of these agents are members of the CCP, to which they have sworn lifelong loyalty.
“The government must act now to expel and remove any Communist Party members from our consulates throughout China. They can serve the United Kingdom or the Chinese Communist Party. They cannot do both,” said Iain Duncan Smith, former leader of the Conservative Party.
According to British media, the information was originally leaked by The Telegram and was corroborated by a Chinese dissident from the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC).
Strategic infiltration
Among the highlights are that a CCP member, who studied at St. Andrew’s University, worked in several consulates in Shanghai, as well as in the U.K.
Other relevant information is that Chinese academics, who also belong to the Party attended British universities and participated in potentially sensitive research areas.
“Pharmaceutical giants Pfizer and AstraZeneca, both involved in the development of Coronavirus vaccines, employed a total of 123 Party loyalists,” the British website said.
Records also show that the CCP has infiltrated Australian, U.S. and British consulates in Shanghai and Britain, and that the U.S. State and Commerce Departments used a Chinese government agency, the Shanghai Foreign Service Department, to hire local staff.
“It is believed to be the first leak of its kind in the world,” said Australian journalist and Sky News anchor Sharri Markson.
“What’s amazing about this database is not only that it exposes people who are members of the Communist Party and who now live and work around the world, from Australia to the U.S. and the U.K., but it’s amazing because it raises the lid on how the party operates under President Xi Jinping,” she added.
The information comes days after John Ratcliffe, Director of U.S. National Intelligence, said that China “is the greatest threat this country has faced since World War II. The official said that the Asian regime has used blackmail, bribery and covert influence to “attack” members of Congress and ensure that they pass laws in its favor. Security services are increasingly concerned about the threat of Chinese espionage.
During the first nine months of this year 14 Chinese citizens were charged with alleged espionage crimes and last week the Donald Trump Administration changed its visa rules so that CCP members and their families can stay or obtain travel documents for only one month.
Meanwhile, in September, Australia revoked the visas of two Chinese teachers on suspicion of spying. One of them appears on the leaked list of members.
Sam Armstrong, of the Henry Jackson Society’s group of foreign policy experts, said that “This is a deeply disturbing illustration of China’s expansion around the world; we cannot look away and must address it head on.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said this year that agents and entities of the Chinese regime are infiltrating the United States at federal and local levels.
The statements by intelligence specialists and by Secretary Pompeo coincide with information he issued exclusively to The American’s Joseph Humire, an expert in global security, who revealed that the main enemies of the United States have tried to break the rule of law in the country.
“China, which is the number two power in the world, is the one that wants to make sure that the United States no longer exists in order to occupy that number one position and change the international system in its favor. China is advancing in all aspects, in politics,the economy and the military,” Humire said.
China advances against the United States and the West
As the days go by, there is increasing evidence that China is moving forward in its intention to finish off the United States as a global superpower. In fact, China has already become the European Union’s (E.U.) largest trading partner, dethroning the United States.
During the first nine months of the year, trade between the E.U. and China reached 425.5 billion euros, while between the U.S. and the E.U. it was 412.5 billion; this, according to the latest data published by Eurostat, reported by the AFP news agency.
It was during the administration of Barack Obama that the Asian country managed to get closer to the U.S. and increased its bad malfeasance. While in the four years of Trump’s government, the visas of some 1,000 Chinese students and researchers suspected of espionage were revoked, Obama -who resided in the White House from 2009 to January 2017- maintained a permissive relationship with China not confronting these millionaire plagiarizers of American companies.
The Asian giant stole, by means of unconventional methods, information and intellectual property from American companies. One of the methods it used was to rely on allied regimes that helped it become the trade giant it is today.
One of the methods used by the Asian nation was to resort to Nicolás Maduro’s tyranny to plagiarize data and technologies of large American companies through the state oil company PDVSA.
The director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Christopher Wray, stated that the theft of U.S. intellectual property by the Chinese regime resulted in one of the greatest transfers of wealth in the history of mankind.
China’s economic espionage cases have increased by approximately 1,300 percent in the last decade, Wray said. The FBI has more than 1,000 investigations into possible theft of U.S. technology and approximately 1,000 more intelligence investigations related to China, he said.
“Sexpionage”, another method used by Chinese Intelligence
On December 8th, it became known that a Chinese spy had sex with U.S. officials to infiltrate the U.S. political system and steal information.
In 2011 Christine Fang entered the country as a supposed college student spending four years of her education courting local politicians and U.S. Congress members. According to intelligence agents, the spy collected private information about politicians, including their habits, schedules, social networks and even rumors about them.
“The idea was for Fang to maneuver in key government circles, and sometimes in the beds of politicians to get personal information about them, and at the same time ingratiate herself with promising leaders,” intelligence sources told Axios.
According to the investigations, Fang allegedly had sex with at least two mayors; and although she would not have been able to access any classified U.S. material, she helped place “subagents” in local offices and in Congress.
Fang, now a fugitive from U.S. justice, worked under the direction of the top-secret spy agency of China’s Ministry of State Security.
Recent cases of infiltration of the West by Chinese agents show how the Asian regime has patiently managed over the years to gain access to key locations and positions in order to obtain information.
