“I’m sick of this stuff (…) the American people think the reason for inflation is that the government spends more money. Simply not true,” said President Biden.
The Democrats have a new campaign slogan “It’s Putin’s fault,” it works for everything, and I warn you, they are ready to use it until the midterms in November.
Inflation: Putin’s fault. Gasoline skyrockets: Putin’s fault. Migration crisis: Putin’s fault. It rains a lot: Putin’s fault. It rains little: Putin’s fault. Biden rants and raves and gets lost in the middle of his speeches: guess, yes, Putin is also to blame.
Do not expect the current administration to assume its responsibility in economic, immigration, national security or foreign policy issues, everything that happens will be Vladimir’s fault, that is why they are already able to shamelessly say that inflation will no longer “be transitory,” as they repeated for a year, but that it is here to stay, as Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen warned: “We are likely to see another year in which 12-month inflation figures remain very uncomfortably high.”
And yes, even though the Democrats insist on trying to sell Americans that inflation and the huge rise in prices is a product of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, as you can see in the chart above prepared by Ian Miller, the economic disaster began long before the Russian butcher made the determination to slaughter the Ukrainian people.
Let us all remember that Biden’s first act as soon as he took office in the White House was to stop the Keystone XL pipeline, a project that would have transported 830,000 barrels of oil sands crude per day from Alberta to Nebraska, in addition to halting concessions for new oil drilling, thus destroying America’s chances of becoming an energy independent country.
So for all the Democrats’ claims of “Putin’s fault,” the fault really lies with the incompetence of the Biden administration, and its nefarious economic policies.
