As the days go by, it is becoming evident that the LGBT agenda is being implemented more forcefully in the country from all sides. Schools became the main focus for left-wing activists and, above all, for the Democratic administration.
The Biden administration has been pushing under the table a series of initiatives that are promoting radical transgender activism, while schools are withholding information from parents.
“The Biden administration has recently promoted neo-pronouns and gender reassignment surgery for minors, government agencies have celebrated the expansion of identity categories such as ‘pansexual’ and ‘non-binary,’ and public schools across the country have adopted curricula teaching students about transitioning from one gender to another,” columnist Christopher Rufo reports in his City Journal article.
While this type of agenda may appear to be the work of a minority, it is increasingly becoming the mainstream of educational institutions and activists, supported by the federal government.
President Biden, speaking to teachers at the White House for the Teacher of the Year ceremony, went so far as to say, “They’re all our children. And the reason you’re the teachers of the year is because you recognize that. They’re not somebody else’s children. They’re like yours when they’re in the classroom.”
However, for parents concerned about the emotional and physical stability of their children, sharing guardianship with the state is not an option.
“We the parents are not interested in co-parenting with the state,” Lauren DeBellis wrote in an op-ed published on Fox News.
Biden blackmailing: Funds in exchange for the LGBT agenda
It recently came to light that Joe Biden’s administration has reportedly engaged in blackmailing against public schools, demanding that they comply with its LGBT policies or he will take away millions of dollars in federal funds earmarked for school lunches.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food and Nutrition Service announced in May that it will prevent low-income students from participating in its National School Lunch Program if their public school does not adopt the administration’s interpretation of the Title IX.
Title IX states that the provision of the Federal Civil Rights Act against Discrimination on the Basis of Sex includes the designations of sexual orientation and gender identity.
The announcement is based on President Joe Biden’s first-day Executive Order on Preventing and Combating Discrimination on the Basis of Gender Identity or Sexual Orientation, which allows transgender students to use male or female restrooms and play sports with both genders.
The Biden administration will also force schools receiving FNS funds to investigate allegations of sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination. College and university students who reject the Biden administration’s definition of sex could also lose their Federal Student Aid.
School districts are pushing for the LGBT agenda, and withholding it from parents
Recently, Education Secretary Miguel Cardona preferred to dodge questions about whether schools should inform parents about their children’s gender transition.
“It’s a simple question: Should schools ever keep it a secret from parents if their children are involved in gender transition?” Congressman Jim Bank asked; however, Cardona did not respond, only arguing that -“parents and schools must work together to support students.”
The vague response of the Secretary of Education got overshadowed by serious evidence that several school districts in the country are not only pushing gender transition in schools, but also hiding it from parents. In fact, there are already mothers who have filed lawsuits for having been excluded in the process of their children’s change.
Republican lawmakers have already sent a letter to Secretary Cardona after a 12-year-old Florida girl allegedly attempted suicide after undergoing secret gender transition talks with her school.
On April 16, parents in Massachusetts also sued a school for allegedly encouraging their children to use new names without parental consent.
“There are lawsuits in Wisconsin, Maryland, Oregon, California,” Broyles said. “This is a national agenda, and parents need to recognize they have the right to direct the upbringing, education, care, medical decisions, mental health decisions of their child,” she concluded
They are pushing for the LGBT agenda on babies
Recently, the use of LGBT-themed flashcards to educate preschoolers about colors came to light. On the cards, a couple could be seen where the man was the one who was pregnant.
But flashcards are not the only “educational” tools being used to induce LGBT or Critical Race Theory issues on young children. It is already public knowledge that there are stories containing explicit messages about sex change, self-perception and racism on children.
Such is the case of the New York City Department of Education, which recommended 7 stories aimed at first graders and kindergartners on transgenderism and other left-wing issues.
Sanitary napkins in men’s restrooms
In December 2021 a law signed by California Governor Gavin Newsom required all public schools and colleges in the state to stock their restrooms with free menstrual products, with the addition that at least one men’s restroom must also comply with the mandate.
The rule, known as the Menstrual Equity for All Act, mandates that as from the start of the 2022-2023 academic year, women’s restrooms “of all genders” and at least one men’s restroom will have products such as free tampons and pads.
A similar bill was signed into law in May by Washington Governor Jay Inslee. The law requires public school districts and private schools across the state to place free menstrual products in all women’s and “gender-neutral” restrooms.
Under Washington law, if the school does not have a “gender-neutral” restroom, then the products must be available in at least one designated men’s and boys’ restroom or school health room.
