The creator of the McAfee antivirus, John McAfee was found dead in his cell in Brians 2 prison, in Sant Esteve de Sesrovires, Spain.
On Tuesday, it was reported that McAfee was awaiting extradition to the United States after being arrested by the National Police at the El Prat airport in Barcelona.

McAfee, 75 years old, was in module 1 of the Brians Penitentiary Center. According to El País, his death is being investigated. However, the authorities explained that the main hypothesis is suicide.
The antivirus creator was arrested on October 3, 2020, at El Prat airport, when he was about to take a plane to Turkey. The arrest was made at the request of the U.S. authorities. McAfee was accused of evading millions of dollars in taxes from profits allegedly obtained from activities such as cryptocurrency trading.
In view of this, the judge of the Audiencia Nacional, José de la Mata ordered his imprisonment, and his extradition to the United States was already planned.
