The Republican Gubernatorial Candidate from Arizona Kari Lake, who lost a very contended and controversial election to Democrat Katie Hobbs in November 2022, filed a petition to transfer her appeal to the Arizona Supreme Court after her election fraud lawsuit was dismissed in December.

Lake filed the petition on December 30th and wants the state’s highest court to take on her appeal after losing by around 17,000 votes.

Tracy Beans, CEO of “Uncover DC” tweeted the public record of the filing on Monday:

Kari Lake’s team also posted an interview clip with The Epoch Times in which the candidate talked to Larry Elder about the appeal:

“I’m hoping our appeal is more of the same. Where people actually get to see how corrupt this is. One of the things the judge would not allow us to bring forth was the count on the lack of signature verification, or at least the process that is so broken.” Lake said.

In the same interview, Lake went after the newly-elected Governor Hobbs:

“…We have our very own version of Joe Biden here in Arizona. And her name is Katie Hobbs”

A decision from the Arizona Supreme Court is to be expected in the upcoming days. Lake wants to appeal all of the 10 counts of the case dismissed by Judge Peter Thompson.

Additionally, Lake requested that the Supreme Court reverse Thompson’s ruling ordering her to pay Hobbs $33,000 in legal expenses.
