After proving his innocence in the courts, Kyle Rittenhouse became a figurehead for the conservative world, being interviewed by major personalities such as Fox News host Tucker Carlson and other important media outlets. On this occasion, the young man spoke with Drew Hernandez of the Daily Wire, who premiered a new show Frontlines.
Hernandez posted a brief clip of the conversation he had with Rittenhouse on Twitter, there the host took the opportunity to ask Rittenhouse about NBA and Los Angeles Lakers’ star LeBron James, who mocked and attacked the young man on Twitter when he broke down in tears on the stand while testifying about the events of the night of Aug. 25, 2020, when Rittenhouse himself shot Joseph Rosenbaum in self-defense.
“I think everybody wants to know … what are your plans for LeBron James?” asked Hernandez of Rittenhouse.
“He’ll be getting a letter, too,” Rittenhouse quickly said. “Anybody who defamed me, or lied about me, we’re just gonna send them a letter and then deal with them in a courtroom,” he said seconds later.
Hernandez also asked Rittenhouse about his alleged “support” for the Black Lives Matter movement, admitted by the young man during the conversation he had with Tucker Carlson in November 2021.
The young man asserted that he does not necessarily support the movement or its political ideals, but rather its motto.
“I support Black Lives Matter,” Rittenhouse explained to Hernandez. “I support black lives matter: they do matter.” Rittenhouse was subjected to public scorn on social media and in the media in the months leading up to his trial, receiving harsh accusations and condemnations by politicians, journalists and celebrities. Apparently, the boy will take different legal actions against the people who allegedly defamed him.
