Happy Friday! Here is the news of the day:

Is Cuba Taking Cues from Russia? In an insightful op-ed, El American’s Julio M. Shiling details how Cuba is learning from Russia to survive and maintain its absolute control in a potential post-communist government. Putin strategically managed to learn from the Soviet Union, maintaining its oligarch roots while removing its Leninist undertones.

On the Russo-Ukrainian War. It seems that the unprecedented sanctions against Russia are making an impact on their nation, as some officials are now reportedly regretting their savage invasion of Ukraine. The DOD recently announced a new military aid package to the Ukrainian government.

DeSantis on Twitter and Disney. We learned yesterday of reports that Elon Musk had secured the cash to officially purchase Twitter. The question will now be, whether the Board of Twitter, will allow such a purchase. If they refuse, Fl. Gov. Ron DeSantis pledged to hold the Board accountable. The Fl Governor appears to be on a roll, as it is on the verge of stripping Disney of its tax benefits in the State of Florida.

Hunter’s ‘The Laptop from Hell’. What are Congressional Democrats hiding from the infamous Hunter Biden “Laptop From Hell”? They refuse to upload its content into the congressional record, blocking YOU, the American people, from directly learning about the shady Biden family business. One thing is sure, Hunter is the gift that keeps on giving.

R.I.P. to CNN+. Streaming may not be for everybody. CNN learned this the hard way after shutting down its fake news platform CNN+, which featured Trump-antagonist Don Lemon and Chris Wallace, who left Fox News for CNN not too long ago. Oh well. Thoughts and prayers to the folk at CNN.

Netflix’s Monopoly Threatened? Similarly, the monopoly of Netflix appears to be on its way down, after its stocks plummeted and subscribers are leaving the platform. Is it a result of woke content, the free markets, or inflation? Who knows!
