A majority of Americans disapprove of President Joe Biden in all areas of his administration; in fact, they call him incompetent.
A Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday, October 6 revealed that Biden flunks on the economy, taxes, foreign policy, immigration, and even as commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces.
Biden, who is only 10 months into his tenure as President of the United States, received the lowest rating he has received from U.S. citizens on his job performance since taking office.
The Quinnipiac University study, conducted by Doug Schwartz, surveyed 1,326 American adults, including Hispanics, nationwide during the October 1-4 period. The margin of error is +/- 2.7 percentage points.
Failed in handling the big issues
A majority of Americans believe Biden has failed to deal with crises: 50 % disapprove of the way he has responded to the Covid-19 pandemic; 55 % believe he has not handled the economy well; 58 % disapprove of his performance as commander in chief of the Armed Forces; 54 % believe he is dealing badly with the tax issue; 58 % disapprove of his handling of foreign policy; and 67 % disapprove on immigration issues and the border crisis.
Majority of Americans say Biden is “not honest”
According to the poll, 50 % of Americans believe Biden is not honest, while 56 % believe he does not have good leadership skills.
In addition, more than half of Americans (55 %) say Biden’s administration is not competent to run the government.
Unpopular even among Hispanics
69 % of Hispanics disapprove of Joe Biden’s handling of the border crisis that has broken records for the number of illegal immigrants in the United States in the last 20 years.
The poll found that only 23 % of Hispanics approve of Biden’s handling of immigration issues; while regarding the handling of deportations of illegal aliens, 41 % of Hispanic respondents said he is “not aggressive enough,” while 20 % said Biden has been “acting appropriately.”
While the Quinnipiac poll suggests that half of Hispanics want to increase deportations of illegal immigrants, 48 % disagree that the Biden administration is deporting Haitian immigrants without even allowing them to seek asylum first.
