Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) announced that she will introduce a bill to defend children from what she called “sex change” surgeries. She made the announcement during an interview on Fox News and explained that she will make the presentation of her proposal this Friday.
“I will introduce the Protect Children’s Innocence Act to criminalize the child abuse that many call “gender-affirming care,” Taylor Greene said.
In addition, the congresswoman detailed what the bill would consist of. “My legislation would immediately make it a felony to subject children to puberty blockers or horrific genital sex change surgeries.”

The Marjorie Taylor Greene Proposal
Marjorie Taylor Greene’s proposal comes at a time when some politicians and members of Joe Biden’s administration have pushed for the sex change of children and the use of puberty blockers. This is the case of Rachel Levine, Deputy Secretary of Health in Joe Biden’s administration, who said in June that these procedures help “save lives”.
The White House has also encouraged gender reassignment surgeries, puberty blockers and hormone therapy for transgender minors. A series of documents released by the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Population Affairs showed as much.
